Ian Husbands is a published singer/songwriter and sings regularly in both live pub rock covers bands and online with many different collaborators, under the name of 8 Month Malfunction.
He started in music at school, as a keyboard player, and went through many roles including band manager and artist promotion before settling on being a singer/songwriter in his own right.
Influenced by a variety of music, from 90's Grunge band "Pearl Jam" to the legendary Otis Redding, Ian's voice is distinctive and is most suited to singing rock and alternative genres.
Ian studied Graphic Design at college and has designed for bands including David Bowie, Metallica and The Beastie Boys. He has also studied "Computer Music Production" and "Web Design" as an adult student in West Thames College.
Ian is the main producer and designer for Bad Hippie, alongside his role as singer/songwriter. |
